OWNER/GUIDE- CAPTAIN JEFF GOODWIN

Captain Jeff Goodwin has been fishing the Pacific Northwest and Northern California waters for over 30 years. He currently works as a year round, full time fishing guide and is able to offer his clients the very best fishing trips in Northern California any day of the week.  Fishing has been his passion since childhood and it has grown every year since.  He has had the opportunity to become very familiar with fishing for multiple species of salmon, rainbow and brown trout, Steelhead, Kokanee salmon, and Sacramento River run Striped bass.  In addition to honing his skills as a fisherman, he has thousands of hours of powerboat handling experience on numerous bodies of water.  He is a licensed fishing guide by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife and holds a USCG OUPV Captain’s License.  He is bonded, insured and is certified in first aid and CPR.

Jaynie Goodwin handles our fishing trip calendar and reservations. She also maintains our booking service reservations, collects trip deposit payments, and maintains trip schedules for her booking service fishing guides. Booking through Jaynie is quite seamless and she makes sure to take care of every last detail. From start to finish there is very little work for our clients when booking their fishing trip(s) with us. She is always available to just answer questions that our clients may have regarding specific trip details, or will be ready to organize a fishing trip for your party, large or small. She has a busy schedule and will answer all calls in the order they were received to ensure clients will have the opportunity to book dates available at the time of their call. Without Jaynie’s hard work and organizational skills, it would be very difficult, if not impossible to fish all of the guided fishing trips that we run and schedule for our clients every year.

JR DECK HAND- GRACIE GOODWIN

Gracie is growing into a fine angler and likes to help her mom and dad both on and off the water. She loves fishing and has grown into a very personable young lady. She will be spending lots of time in the coming years helping us grow our fishing business and learning the tricks of the trade. If she finds the same passion for the fishing business that both Jeff and Jaynie have, Gracie will undoubtedly be running Jeff Goodwin Guide Service in the future if she so desires.
